Civil Engineer - Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Job description:
TDM Consulting, Inc. is a local Fort Myers civil engineering and planning firm seeking an experienced Florida-licensed Professional Engineer. Our team completes commercial, industrial, residential, institutional, and municipal land development projects throughout Southwest Florida for local businesses, property owners, developers, and public-sector clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead land development projects from planning and design through permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Oversee site, grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, utility, stormwater, and lift station design.
- Prepare and review calculations, reports, traffic impact statements, permit applications, and construction documents.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality control, client communication, subconsultants, and agency coordination.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Active Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida.
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience with substantial Southwest Florida land development experience.
- Strong project management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred; familiarity with ICPR, StormWise, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, AutoTURN, or similar software is a plus.
- Local permitting and agency experience throughout Southwest Florida preferred.
