Sanibel Recreational Center |
3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel, FL33957 Project Description: TDM Consulting provided civil engineering services for the Sanibel Recreation Center, which was funded through a $3.2 million grant from Lee County’s Capital Improvement Fund and $1.596 from the Lee County School District. The 31,600 square foot recreation center incorporates features and amenities that are designed to fit into the City of Sanibel's eco-friendly and natural environment - from the natural shell parking lot and native vegetation to the solar heated pool and interior and exterior furnishings and signage made from recycled material. |
The Recreation Center includes an aquatic center featuring a competitive/plunge pool with a slide, exercise pool and splash pad, tennis courts, a weight room, teen center, gymnasium, and skate park. |
