TDM Consulting, Inc. has been awarded the Engineering contract for Pope John XXIII Villas, an outreach of the Diocese of Venice through Blessed Pope John XXIII Catholic Church. The housing development will provide quality affordable housing for seniors of all faiths. The Catholic Diocese of Venice was awarded a 202 Capital Grant of $9,724,600 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Lee County Board of County Commissioners also awarded a grant of $600,000 from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund as a local commitment to the project. The 3-story apartment building will be located adjacent to the Blessed Pope John XXIII Parrish in south Fort Myers. The project will also include roadway improvements and extension of water and sewer mains to the area. Construction is anticipated to begin in spring 2011. Woodroffe Corporation Architects of Tampa, has been selected as the project architect, and ME&S General Contractors Inc. has been selected as the general contractor.

James Messick, Project Manager with TDM Consulting, Inc. has received his Professional Engineer License from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. James has been a project Manager with TDM Consulting since 2006 and will now provide civil engineering design in addition to his project manager duties.

TDM Consulting, Inc. has completed the engineering inspection of the Gateway Golf & Country Club Maintenance Building project. The new 12,000 square foot maintenance building received substantial compliance and certificate of occupancy on May 4, 2010. Architectural services provided by William Kyle Kitchens, landscape design was provided by Genus Loci Studios, and Brooks & Freund was the general contractor for the project.

TDM Consulting, Inc. a civil engineering and planning firm in Fort Myers (www.tdmcivilengineering.com) has received Development Order approval from Lee County for the First Baptist Church of Lehigh Acres. The Church, located on the corner of Leeland Heights Blvd and Highland Ave in Lehigh Acres, has been approved for a new Sanctuary, Family Life Center building, and additional parking on their 5.3 acre property. The Church has selected The NewGround Group Inc., a Church consulting firm as the construction manager with Canco General Contractors as sub-contractors. Architectural design has been provided by Alliance Design Group of Punta Gorda. Ground breaking is scheduled for April. TDM Consulting, Inc. (www.tdmcivilengineering.com) a Civil Engineering and Planning firm headquartered in Fort Myers, has completed the engineering for Cape Wall Street, LLC’s new office/retail building located at 1420 SE 16th Place in Cape Coral. The new building has 3,836 square feet of leasing space. Tudor Villas Corporation is serving as the General Contractor for the project, with architectural services provided by Mary Ellen Bundschu Burnup, Architect.

TDM Consulting, Inc. (www.tdmcivilengineering.com) has received permit approval from the City of Fort Myers for Colonial Gardens. Colonial Gardens is a planned multifamily residential community conveniently located near Six Mile Cypress and Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers. Located on just over 20 acres, the community will have 14 condominium buildings with a total of 304 residential units along with a club house and swimming pool amenities area. The site has been designed around a centrally located 1 acre lake. The community will also feature a 1.6 acre preserve area and connected walking paths throughout the community and around the lake. In addition to the residential community, the site includes an out parcel for future commercial development. The site is being developed by Penta Homes, with Gamma Construction as the general contractor.
